Future Library

For the 50th anniversary of the company SBD Bibliotheksservice AG, which supports libraries nationwide with services and products, I was commissioned to produce an animated web-spot.

The client wanted to celebrate their long-standing presence and, above all, emphasize how important their services will continue to be in the future. From various proposals, they chose a concept that takes a very humorous approach. A futuristic library in outer space with innovative services and quirky creatures presents new challenges to everyday library life. The film is characterized by a fresh narrative style and elaborately designed visuals. The story is told without words but is accompanied by an exceptional soundtrack by Matin Bezzola (klanggestalter.ch).
