After completing his apprenticeship as a graphic designer in St. Gallen, Nino studied animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. His graduation film “Little Eden” and his debut film “L’Île Noire” have been screened at numerous international animation festivals and have received multiple awards.

As an illustrator, he has contributed to various feature films, including “1917 – The Real October” by Katrin Rothe, “Molly Monster” by Ted Sieger, “The Scent of Fear” by Mirjam von Arx, the animated TV and web series “FILOSOFIX” for SRF, and “Only a Child”, an Oscar-shortlisted collective project by Simone Giampaolo.

Er produziert Animationen, Illustrationen und visuelle Konzepte. Raffinierte Bildideen, ausdrucksstarke Charaktere sowie Geschichten mit Humor und Tiefe prägen seine Arbeit.

Nach seiner Ausbildung zum Grafikdesigner in St. Gallen studierte Nino Animation an der Hochschule für Kunst und Design in Luzern. Sein Abschlussfilm «Little Eden» sowie sein Debütfilm «L’Île Noire» wurden auf zahlreichen internationalen Animationsfilmfestivals gezeigt und mehrfach ausgezeichnet.
